 The leaf is wiry and blackish with some tips . The cup is bright with a smooth and fruity flavour.

This Namring first flush is deliciously complex. Primarily floral in both liquor and aroma, one can also discern a soft fruity-nutty undertone. A wonderful even plucking of bright green and dark brown leaves with some silvery tips.

Recommendations: Use 1 level tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water until steaming briskly (195ºF); let steep for 2-3 min.

This tea is having well sized blackish leaf and a few tips are visible. With a bright reddish cup and a mellow flavour it is truly a good second flush Darjeeling.

A very aromatic Darjeeling that comes highly recommended. It is a mature and complex Second Flush from the award-winning Namring Estate. The liquor has a rich golden color and a nutty, somewhat almondy flavor. A great Darjeeling also for the newcomer.

Recommendations: Use 1 heaping tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water to a roaring boil; let steep for 3 min. Try with some rock sugar. Enjoy this tea through 2 infusions.

Namring White Tea 2009 Darjeeeling Tea 100g $35.00

White teas are made by only steaming and drying the leaf. When this method is applied to a Darjeeling, the result is the subtle flavor of a traditional white tea with the floweriness and distinctive character of a Darjeeling. Only one lot of this truly amazing tea was produced by the reputable Poobong Estate. Before the infusion this rare, entirely handmade tea has the color spectrum of autumn leaves. The light-bodied liquor has a beautiful light amber color. A must try for all white tea lovers.

Recommendations: Use 3 grams (2 heaping soup spoons) per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water until steaming (170 - 180ºF); let steep for 2.5 to 3 min.
